NAPA, the band representing Portugal at Eurovision 2025, has invited people to participate in the official music video for their entry, “Deslocado.”

“Deslocado” (translated as: “Displaced”) is the song that will be performed by NAPA band, representing Portugal as song number 13 at Eurovision 2025’s first semi-fina on May 13 in Basel, Switzerland. The song does not yet have an official music video, and in a social media post, the band called on people to take part and explained how to do so.

The song expresses the deep feelings of a person who feels out of place in their current environment, longing intensely for their true home—the island of Madeira, Portugal. It also conveys the singer’s powerful connection to their homeland, where they find peace and tranquility, describing open spaces and a place from which they draw strength. Every word in the song is filled with the pain of leaving home and the hope of returning, making its message especially moving and heartfelt. Therefore, the band is seeking videos from people who have been displaced from their homes around the world.

The band explained:

“We’re recording a music video that pays homage to every person who has ever found themselves missing the place they feel is home. A homage that can only be truly complete if it reflects your stories. We’re looking for candid videos from displaced people around the world, showing the place where they live now.”

Videos can be filmed vertically or horizontally and should be up to one minute long. To participate in the Portuguese Eurovision music video for “Deslocado,” contributors are invited to send their videos to [email protected].
