Eurovision 2025 Betting Odds: All songs revealed, One Country Still in the Lead! Who is expected to win? Where do the last few revealed songs stand in the odds? These are the significant changes in the betting odds table over the last week!
The list of competing songs in Eurovision 2025 is complete, with all 37 songs now available for listening. As the songs are revealed, the betting odds table stabilizes, providing a clearer picture of who has a chance to win the competition and who is likely to remain outside the final. The betting tables now carry significant weight as a tool for predicting the results of the competition, which will take place in May in Basel, Switzerland. Every year, bets are placed to determine the winner of the Eurovision contest, and this year, betting officially opened in December. The betting will close simultaneously with the broadcast of the Eurovision final on May 17. The complete betting odds table is later in the article!
Sweden Leads the Betting Odds Table
Sweden currently tops the betting odds, holding a record-tying seven Eurovision victories alongside Ireland. If Sweden wins this year, they’ll break the record with eight wins. The band KAJ will represent Sweden with “Bara bada bastu,” marking Sweden’s first Swedish-language entry since 1998. Sweden’s chances have increased from 17% last week to 25% now.
However, victory isn’t guaranteed. Last year at this time, Croatia led the odds but ultimately finished second, while Switzerland, who won Eurovision 2024, was only fourth in mid-March predictions with 9% winning chances.
Austria and Israel in Top Positions
JJ, Austria’s representative, holds second place with 18% odds, up 2% from last week, with his electro-pop opera “Wasted Love”.
Yuval Raphael, Israel’s representative, maintains third place with “New Day Will Rise.” Despite criticism at home, she’s gaining support in Europe. Israel’s chances remain open, as history shows songs ranked third to fifth in March can still win.
Israel can certainly surprise and win the competition. Switzerland was ranked only fourth in March 2024 and ended up winning the contest. Italy, which won Eurovision 2021, was only ranked fifth in March 2021.
It’s worth noting that Eden Golan was placed only eighth at the same time last year but ultimately managed to reach a higher position (fifth place) at the moment of truth. Therefore, everything is still open for Yuval Raphael!
Four countries recently revealed their entries for Eurovision 2025, causing shifts in the betting odds:
France Maintains Strong Position: Louane unveiled her song “Maman” for Eurovision. Despite some disappointment from fans who had high expectations, France maintains fourth place in the betting odds, dropping only one position from last week.
Cyprus and Switzerland Face Setbacks: Theo Evan, the first selected contestant for Eurovision 2025, revealed his song “Shh” just before the deadline. This electro-pop entry promises impressive choreography, but fan reaction led to Cyprus dropping from 10th to 14th place in the odds.
The host country, Switzerland, introduced young singer Zoë Më with “Voyage”. This small, touching ballad failed to impress bettors, causing Switzerland to fall from 21st to 23rd place.
Georgia Shows Promise: Georgia surprised everyone by announcing Mariam Shengelia as their representative with “Freedom”, performed in English and Georgian. Despite past failures with bilingual entries, Georgia’s odds have improved, climbing from 23rd to 19th place.

The Significance of Eurovision Betting Odds
The betting odds for Eurovision 2025 are based on numerous individuals wagering money on countries they believe might win the upcoming contest. With all songs now revealed, the betting table has transformed into an expectation table, much of which will materialize while some predictions may prove inaccurate. At this stage, we can clearly identify the favorites to win the competition and which countries have little chance of victory. While it’s possible to roughly gauge where each country might rank in Eurovision, we should anticipate both positive and negative surprises.
Historical Accuracy of Eurovision Betting Odds
Betting odds don’t always accurately predict Eurovision outcomes and should be taken with a grain of salt. However, they often reflect public taste and frequently hit the mark. Let’s look at recent years:
-
2024: Croatia led with 20% winning odds but finished second. Switzerland, ranked fourth, won.
-
2023: Sweden led with 40% odds and indeed won. Finland, ranked second, secured second place.
-
2022: Ukraine led and won, while the UK and Spain surprised everyone by finishing second and third despite lower odds.
-
2021: Italy won despite being ranked fifth in odds, while Switzerland and Malta underperformed their high odds.
Eurovision 2025: This will be Switzerland’s 65th participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. Switzerland joined the competition in 1956, being one of the seven founding countries, and has won three times over the years. Its most recent victory was at the last Eurovision in 2025, with Nemo’s song “The Code.” This win follows Switzerland’s previous victory in 1988 with the song “Ne partez pas sans moi,” performed by international singer Céline Dion.
