United Kingdom in Eurovision 2025: Group Remember Monday took the stage for their second rehearsal with the song “What The Hell Just Happened?”. Stay updated with all the reports from Basel, Switzerland

The British group Remember Monday were the twelfth act to rehearse today on the Eurovision 2025 stage with her song “What The Hell Just Happened?“. They will perform in the second semi-final on May 15th between song number 6 (Austria) and song number 7 (Greece), and in the grand final to be held on May 17th.

In the second rehearsal video for the United Kingdom at Eurovision, the band Remember Monday takes the stage with a captivating presence-each member wears a distinct, bright outfit in pink, light blue, and yellow, creating a fresh and colorful look. Behind them stands an extraordinary stage prop: a giant chandelier that appears to have crashed to the floor, a dramatic visual hinting at chaos, fracture, or perhaps the breakdown of recent events (“What the hell just happened?”). The vocal lines move dynamically between the members, with seamless transitions accompanied by playful expressions, winks to the camera, and flashes of humor and self-confidence.

United Kingdom at Eurovision 2025: More details about the rehearsal performance

Photos from the first rehearsal reveal that the giant chandelier isn’t the only prop; there’s also a stage platform where the band stands, its back fully upholstered in tufted light blue velvet. It’s possible that the song’s performance will take us through a story within the aftermath of the chaos that just unfolded. Both the song and the performers were selected internally, so there’s no earlier version for comparison-only a music video filmed in a mansion, which also features transitions between spaces, echoing what we now see on stage. The performance aims to convey a sense of polished chaos with a mischievous wink, though the risk lies in whether every audience will connect with the chaotic concept. Nevertheless, the overall impression is of a smart, lighthearted pop show, full of style-and plenty of fun.

The song “What The Hell Just Happened?” is the name of the song that will be performed by the girl group Remember Monday, who will represent the United Kingdom at Eurovision 2025. The group will perform the song in the second semi-final of Eurovision 2025 which will take place on May 15th in Basel, Switzerland. Since they represent one of the “Big Five” – they automatically advance to the grand final on May 17th. The song was written by the band members along with Thomas Stengaard, who wrote the winning Eurovision 2013 song “Only Teardrops“, Julie Aagaard who wrote Austria’s songs in 2024 “We Will Rave” (24th place in the grand final) and Malta’s song in 2022, “I Am What I Am” (16th place in the semi-final). The song is performed in English.

The song describes a wild night of partying and mayhem, where the speaker experiences a series of crazy and unexpected events. The song expresses the desire to break free from everyday constraints, experience extreme situations, and feel freedom, even if it involves irresponsible or dangerous behavior.
