New updates from the United Kingdom on the traditional London party. The 17th edition is expected to return, joining the lineup of promotional events leading into Eurovision 2026 in Vienna.
You can already mark your calendars: the London Eurovision Party will return this year as an integral part of the promotional events that accompany the contest each spring. This will be the 17th edition of the party, which over time has become a central landmark of the Eurovision season. As always, it is expected to bring together artists, songs, and fans under one roof, just before official rehearsals begin for Eurovision 2026 in Vienna.
The party will be held on Sunday, April 19th, 2026. Further details on the exact venue and ticket sales will be revealed soon. Last year, the event took place at HERE at Outernet in London, where no fewer than 21 Eurovision 2025 participants performed. Among them was the band Remember Monday, who represented the United Kingdom, appearing alongside returning performers who had competed in past contests.
Since its founding in 2008, the London Eurovision Party has become the oldest promotional event in Europe, drawing fans from across the continent eager to experience live performances and meet artists up close. For contestants, it offers a first chance to test their stage presence in front of a large audience, and at times has even influenced betting odds ahead of the contest in Vienna.
The British party will join a vibrant series of spring promo events across Europe, including the Nordic Eurovision Party in Norway on March 21st, Pre-Party ES in Madrid from April 2nd to 4th, and Eurovision in Concert set for April 11th in Amsterdam.
United Kingdom at Eurovision 2025
The song “What The Hell Just Happened?” was performed by the girl group Remember Monday, representing the United Kingdom at Eurovision. The group finished 19th in the Grand Final with 88 points – all from the juries. While the juries ranked the group 10th, the public gave the Unoted Kingdom zero points, placing the song last.
Despite the United Kingdom’s storied Eurovision history, in the past 25 years, it has managed to reach the Top 10 only three times – in 2002, 2009 and 2022.
Eurovision 2026: This will be the 68th participation of the United Kingdom in Eurovision. The United Kingdom joined the competition in 1957 and has won it five times over the years. The United Kingdom’s last victory was in Eurovision 1997 with the song ‘Love Shine A Light’ performed by the band Katrina and the Waves.
