
Auditions for the Eurovision 2026 stand-in shows in Vienna will be held December 19th-20th. Apply for singer or dancer roles by December 14th
Auditions for singers, dancers, and performers for Eurovision 2026 in Vienna, Austria, will take place on December 19th-20th. Successful candidates will perform in the stand-in shows, where local artists present previews of each act’s stage performance to delegations before the competing artists arrive for rehearsals two weeks later. Some of the selected performers may also take part in the live shows.
The auditions are managed by Motions by Dietmann, founded by Marvin Dietmann, who has served as Eurovision’s creative director since 2011. Professional singers can submit their applications here, while professional dancers can apply here. The deadline for all submissions is December 14th.
The 2015 Team Returns to Lead Eurovision 2026
Heading the production of Eurovision 2026 is Michael Krön, the executive producer from the Austrian national broadcaster ORF. He will oversee the project and report directly to network management. Working alongside him is Stefan Zechner, who produced the 2015 contest and has led the Austrian delegation since 2011. The duo’s impressive record has sparked hope among Eurovision fans that the upcoming event will recapture the 2015 Vienna show’s remarkable success.
Meet the Core Production Team
The production team also includes Daniel Hack, serving as head of production after his tenure as financial manager for ORF’s digital news division; Christine Tichy, the technical director who previously worked as deputy production manager for Eurovision 2015; Roman Horacek, communications director for the Austrian delegation since 2005 who also managed Eurovision’s communication operations in Vienna; Iris Keutter, marketing director known for her involvement in Austria’s winning campaign in Copenhagen; and Oliver Lingens, who will focus on off-stage logistics, including side events, the media center, security, and hospitality.

Eurovision 2026: The 70th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Austria, following the country’s third historic win with the song “Wasted Love” performed by JJ. This will be the third time the contest is hosted in Austria, after 1967 and 2015.
