Finland’s Linda Lampenius x Pete Parkkonen dominate Eurovision 2026 betting odds, while France, Denmark, and Noam Bettan follow in the Top 5.
With only about a month to go before Eurovision 2026, additional betting categories continue to open, predicting outcomes beyond the general winner of the coveted competition. According to the updated data from the newest category – “Which countries will finish in the top five?” – the clear favorite to win the competition, Finland, sits in first place with a significant lead. The nation is represented by Linda Lampenius x Pete Parkkonen and the song “Liekinheitin” (in English: “Flamethrower”). Following the leaders, Denmark and France occupy the next spots, while Israel and Noam Bettan are currently ranked in fourth place with 46%.
Finland Dominates Multiple Betting Categories

At the center of the Eurovision 2026 betting tables stands Finland, which continues to dominate the top spot not only in the overall winning odds for the Eurovision Song Contest but also in additional categories: odds of qualifying for the Grand Final, finishing in the top ten, the highest-placing Nordic country, and, as mentioned, the top five finish category.
Finland currently stands at a 65% chance of finishing in the top five. If we compare this to the same period in previous years, Sweden stood in first place last year with a 74% chance of a top-five finish, and Switzerland stood in first place during the same period in 2024 with 61%.
The Current Top Five Race
In second place with 48% is Denmark, with the singer Søren Torpegaard Lund and his song “Før vi går hjem” (in English: “Before we go home”).
Ranked third with 47% is France, with the singer Monroe, who will perform the song “!Regarde” (in English: “Look!”) in the competition.
In fourth place with 46% is Israel, with Noam Bettan, who will compete in the contest with the song “Michelle”.
Closing out the top five is Greece with 45%, which will be represented by Akylas and his song “Ferto” (in English: “Bring it”). Closely following Greece, also with 45%, is Australia and Delta Goodrem, who will perform “Eclipse”.

Finland at Eurovision 2026:
“Liekinheitin” is the title of the song to be performed by Linda Lampenius x Pete Parkkonen, who will represent Finland at Eurovision 2026 in Vienna during the first semi-final on May 12th. The entry was written and composed by the duo together with Vilma Alina, who wrote the song “Sun Sumero” that competed in “UMK 2022”, Antti Riihimäki, and Lauri Halavaara, who already collaborated with them last year on the song “Alina”, which finished third in the 2025 Finnish national selection, and who also wrote “Takatukka”, another entry in this year’s Finnish selection. The song is performed in Finnish.
The song portrays a destructive and addictive relationship, defined by a constant struggle between rational thought and an uncontrollable impulse. In the lyrics, the singer presents the dilemma that the right and sensible choice would be to walk away, yet he finds himself trapped under the spell of the other person, whom he likens to a flamethrower: a powerful figure who burns him emotionally and physically at the same time. The song highlights the painful contrast between intimate nights and emotional distance in public, where his lover behaves as if she does not know him at all, creating a sense of humiliation mixed with intense attraction.
Currently, Finland is ranked 1st on the betting odds ahead of Eurovision 2026, with 30% winning chance!
Eurovision 2026: This will be Finland’s 59th participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. Finland joined the competition in 1961 and achieved its best result in Eurovision 2006, winning the contest with Lordi and their song “Hard Rock Hallelujah”.
