Giannis Zafeiriou, or “ZAF” for short, is a 25-year-old Greek pop singer born in Thessaloniki, Greece. According to him, music has been his biggest passion since childhood. From a young age, he spontaneously created melodies, while in his teenage years he took his first steps in music. He’s a new artist in the industry and started his career just a year ago, gaining recognition mainly through social media. Later, he released his first song “Pes” together with Greek-Albanian singer Christos Mastoras. Additionally, he released a solo version of the song which reached about 9 million views. About a month ago, he released his newest song “True Love Story” which has been very successful. Like many artists in Greece, he is signed to the record label “Panik Records”, which claims the singer has gained enough experience and is now ready to represent Greece in the competition.
ZAF has gained considerable stage experience during his career year. He had the honor of opening for the famous band Coldplay at their performance in Athens, Greece, and is currently on a joint tour with the runner-up of Eurovision 2018, Cyprus representative Eleni Foureira.

“Zari” is the title of the song performed by singer Marina Satti, who was selected through an internal selection process by the Greek national broadcaster. Greece qualified for the final after placing fifth in the second semi-final with 86 points, and in the grand final, they finished in 11th place with 126 points.
