As rumors swirl about the participants of Melodifestivalen 2025, the Swedish national broadcaster announces that ticket sales for the Eurovision national finals will commence on November 6th.

Melodifestivalen 2025, Sweden’s Eurovision Song Contest national selection, is set to choose the country’s representative and song in the grand finale scheduled for March 8th in Stockholm. Last year, Marcus & Martinus were selected to represent Sweden, the host country of Eurovision 2024 in Malmö. Despite facing criticism from their home country Norway, they achieved a respectable ninth place finish.

Following a tumultuous season and amid numerous rumors about Melodifestivalen contestants, Swedish national broadcaster SVT will open ticket sales for the renowned Eurovision pre-selection on Wednesday, November 6th.

Event Structure and Ticket Availability

Ticket sales for all Melodifestivalen shows will open on Ticketmaster.se in two weeks, on November 6th. This is the largest Eurovision national selection organized by any participating country, and once again, it will span several host cities and massive arenas. The event will be accompanied by enthusiastic media coverage from across Europe and beyond, as well as an impressive visual spectacle that typically rivals Swedish Eurovision productions.

This year, Sweden will once again hold the final in the capital, Stockholm, at Friends Arena. The fourth heat of the national selection will take place at Malmö Arena, the venue that hosted Eurovision 2024 about five months ago.

Starting November 6th, tickets will be available for 18 shows: 6 live performances (five Heats and the Grand Final), 6 evening rehearsals, and 6 afternoon rehearsals. Additional information about Melodifestivalen, including the official and complete list of contestants, hosts, and stage design, will be released in the coming months by the Swedish national broadcaster, SVT.
