While everyone was waiting to hear her opinion on Eurovision, Sara candidly revealed her priorities, focusing mainly on promoting the album. The 16-year-old singer talks about the personal sacrifices required for success, and mentioned that her daily life is very different from that of her peers.
Regarding participation in Eurovision, Sara James clarified: “The idea has crossed my mind, but I want to be ready. (…) I would like to do it well. It’s very flattering to me, a great honor, but it’s probably not the right time yet. Give me another moment. I want to present myself in the best possible way.”
Polish Eurovision Favorites
With growing fan support, great talent, and experience on international stages, Sara couldn’t hide her excitement about being the favorite singer to represent Poland at Eurovision according to many, based on local polls in Poland. According to the polls, Jann, who tried to represent Poland in 2023 with the song “Gladiator”, ranked second. Justyna Steczkowska, who represented Poland at Eurovision 1995, came in third. Roksana Węgiel, who won Junior Eurovision in 2018, ranked fourth, and Margaret, who competed in the Polish Eurovision national final in 2016 and came second despite many believing she could bring Poland the Eurovision victory, ranked fifth. Margaret also tried to represent Sweden at Eurovision 2018 and 2019.
Who is Sara James?
Sara James is a Polish singer with relatively high local and international exposure for being only 16 years old. In 2021, she won the fourth season of the Polish version of “The Voice Kids”. That same year, she competed in the Polish Junior Eurovision national selection, which she won and represented her country at Junior Eurovision 2021, where she came second with 218 points. In 2022, she was a guest performer at the Polish Eurovision national selection for adults, where she performed several songs. Later that year, she participated in “America’s Got Talent”, where she reached fifth place, and later participated in the all-stars version of the show.
