Lithuania’s First Rehearsal: More Details

Mysterious Cloaks and Show-Stealing Makeup

Even before the first note was heard, the aesthetic presented by the Lithuanian artist made waves in the hall thanks to an unusual, glittering silver makeup design that caught the light in a mesmerizing way. He opened the first rehearsal wrapped in a giant cloak with a heavy hood, a mysterious figure taking over the screen with the confidence of a natural-born entertainer. The combination of precise choreographic movements and impressive vocal abilities suggests that Lithuania has brought one of the strongest artistic concepts to the field of 35 participating nations this year.

Theatrical “Camp” and the Black-and-White Transition

In the middle of the song, the performance takes a sharp turn toward the world of extroverted theatricality. English subtitles momentarily appear on the screen, creating a moment of amusing self-awareness for the global audience. Just before the climax, the screen transitions to sharp black and white, and then the singer reveals a tailored Gothic suit studded with spikes that radiates dark power. This visual transformation, occurring exactly as the tempo rises, left the press and crew in Vienna captivated by the screen.
