Tonight at 20:15, the Latvian national broadcaster LTV will host the grand final of “Supernova 2026”. Supernova has been used to choose Latvia’s Eurovision entries since 2015. Ten contestants out of the 24 who competed in last week’s semi-final have advanced to the final, where they will vie for the opportunity to represent Latvia at Eurovision 2026.
“Supernova 2026” will be hosted by Ketija Šēnberga, Māra Sleja and Lauris Reiniks. The results will be determined by public voting (50%) and by a panel of judges (50%). The winner will represent Latvia at Eurovision 2026, which will be held in Vienna,Austria
Latvia will be the tenth country to select a song for Eurovision 2026, following Albania, Montenegro, Moldova, Malta, Luxembourg, Ukraine, Cyprus, Estonia and Denmark, and the 14th country to select its representative, as Georgia, Switzerland, Israel and Bulgaria also join the list.

Who to Watch Tonight?
The EuroMix editorial team, after reviewing the competing songs, did not align with the readers’ choice and selected Robert Ox as the most suitable act to represent Latvia at the upcoming Eurovision, awarding him 117 points. Ranked second by the editors, with 107 points, was Atvara, the readers’ favorite. In third place with 95 points came the singer Emilija, who placed fourth in the readers’ vote. Betting Odds and Streaming platforms
Based on betting odds for “Supernova 2026”, Atvara leads with a 40% chance of victory, followed by Emilija with 31%, and the band Kautkaili with 9%. The editorial favorite, Robert Ox, currently stands only in fourth place with a 7% winning probability.
According to aggregated YouTube viewing figures, Atvara maintains the lead with 120,000 views. She is followed by Kautkaili with 77,000 views and Robert Ox with 60,000 views.
Latvia’s “Supernova” remains entirely open, with two primary contenders locked in a tight and highly competitive race Atvara and Emilija. Much will depend on the live performances and audience response tonight.

Latvia at Eurovision 2025
“Bur Man Laimi” (in English: “Song for Happiness”) is the name of the song performed by Tautumeitas, representing Latvia at Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. The song is performed in Latvian – the first song in Latvian sent since 2004!
It placed second in the second semi-final with 130 points, reached the grand final, and finished thirteenth with 158 points – Latvia’s second consecutive qualification and highest achievement since Eurovision 2015.
Eurovision 2026: This will be Latvia’s 26th participation. Latvia debuted the contest in 2000 and achieved its best result in 2002, when Marie N won with the song “I Wanna”.
