The annual OGAE Poll has continued with its fourth set of results as OGAE Austria reveals its top scores. Finland has secured the top spot in the Austrian vote, and maintains its overall lead in the early standings.

The OGAE Poll is one of the most vital and discussed indicators within the global Eurovision community. Every year, tens of thousands of fans belonging to OGAE the official organization for Eurovision fan clubs in Europe and beyond – vote for their favorite song among the contestants. For 2026, members were asked to rank the 35 participating entries. The poll is considered an early indication of trends and reflects social media buzz.

While the official international OGAE channels have not yet begun the traditional rollout of 2026 results, the local branches – France, Romania, Denmark and now Austria – have moved ahead to reveal their rankings earlier than expected. This network of fan clubs has managed this poll annually since 2007, using the iconic Eurovision voting method. The full results from all clubs are expected to be unveiled by early May, just before rehearsals commence in the host city.




Following the earlier reveal of the French and Romanian Eurovision OGAE clubs results, the official votes from OGAE Austria have now been disclosed. The clear winner for the Austrian club was Finland, represented by Linda LampeniusPete Parkkonen, who secured a massive amount of 1,075 points. They are set to perform the song “Liekinheitin” (in English: “Flamethrower”) on the eurovision stage in Vienna.

Finland Maintains Top Position in Global Fan Rankings

With the combined results from France, Romania, Denmark and Austria, the race for the OGAE Poll 2026 title is intensifying. Linda LampeniusPete Parkkonen currently lead the overall leaderboard with their track “Liekinheitin” (in English: “Flamethrower”), holding 36 points. Cyprus and Australia follow in second place, both with 23 points.

Under the official Eurovision scoring system (1-12 points), the global standings reflect the preferences of the first two voting clubs. While some entries are gaining early momentum, the full field remains competitive as more clubs prepare to reveal their scores.

Eurovision 2026: The 70th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Austria, following the country’s third historic win with the song “Wasted Love” performed by JJ. This will be the third time the contest is hosted in Austria, after 1967 and 2015.
