The Georgian national broadcaster, GPB, has announced that Georgia will participate in Eurovision 2025, which will be held in Basel, Switzerland. Georgia is the 25th country so far to express its intention to participate in Eurovision 2025, following Austria, Azerbaijan, Italy, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Israel, Luxembourg, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Malta, Norway, San Marino, Spain, Serbia, Portugal, Finland, France, Cyprus, Croatia, Sweden, and the host country Switzerland.
The announcement was made to the Eurovision website Esctoday.com. In recent years, Georgia has selected its representatives through internal selection or music reality shows, but the selection process for Eurovision 2025 has not yet been disclosed.
