Australia: Tony Armstrong and Courtney Act to Lead Eurovision Broadcasts

Australia at Eurovision 2025: TV presenter Tony Armstrong and Australian drag legend Courtney Act have been chosen to host Eurovision 2025 broadcasts for the Australian national broadcaster SBS.
The Australian national broadcaster SBS has announced that Tony Armstrong and Courtney Act will be the new duo leading Eurovision broadcasts for 2025, set to take place in Basel, Switzerland. The live coverage will air to Australia from May 14th to May 18th, with special prime-time shows scheduled between May 16th and May 18th.
Since 2017, TV and radio presenters Myf Warhurst and Joel Creasey served as Eurovision commentators for SBS Australia. Over eight years, they delivered humorous and insightful commentary, becoming an integral part of the Eurovision viewing experience in the country.
In December 2024, the duo announced their retirement from commentary roles, stating it was time to pass the glittering microphones to new hosts. In a joint statement, they said:
