Germany has confirmed its participation in Eurovision 2025, to be held in Basel, Switzerland, but has yet to announce a selection process. Recent developments suggest a shift in the country's approach to choosing its representative.
The German national broadcaster ARD has announced Germany's participation in Eurovision 2025 but has left the selection process unclear. It has now been revealed that changes are coming, at least in terms of the production company involved. German media reports that after three consecutive years of producing the German national selection, "Bildergarten Entertainment" will not be part of the production this year. Karsten Roeder, CEO of the company, stated, "Bildergarten is not in talks with the German national broadcaster this year."
