The first heat of Germany's Eurovision national selection "Chefsache ESC" concluded, advancing 7 out of 12 competitors to the semifinals. Check out the full results!
The German Eurovision national selection, "Chefsache ESC," kicked off with its first heat. Twelve competitors vied for a chance to progress to "Chefsache ESC" semifinals scheduled for February 22, with only seven artists moving forward. The first heat results were determined solely by a panel of judges (100%). The first quarterfinal took place at the 8 EMG studios in Cologne, hosted by the renowned German presenter Barbara Schöneberger.
The judges for the first heat were "Chefsache ESC" producer Stefan Raab and the well-known German singer Max Mutzke, who represented Germany in the 2004 Eurovision with the song “Can't Wait Until Tonight” and finished eighth in the grand final, securing second place in the German Eurovision national selection for 2024 with his song “Forever Strong”.
